Eduardo Eyras’ career in Computational RNA Biology spans more than 20 years, including the development of early tools for studying RNA splicing and pioneering machine learning methods to study RNA regulation and its role in disease. As Director of the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation at ANU, Eduardo leads interdisciplinary teams at the intersection of AI, RNA biology, and therapeutics to decode and design new molecules for next-generation medicines. Eduardo is passionate about fostering inclusive, collaborative environments that bridge disciplines and translate computational innovation into real-world impacts.
