Brian Friedrich, Ph.D., is currently the Associate Director of Analytical Development at Genentech (Roche), where he establishes analytical capabilities for raw materials, CAR-T products, and gene therapy products. Previously, he served as the Head of Bioassay for mRNA Analytical Development at Sanofi, leading CMC activities for mRNA-based vaccines. With extensive experience at Merck and Nanoviricides, Dr. Friedrich specializes in developing robust control strategies, characterizing mRNA/LNP complexes, and navigating regulatory submissions for novel modalities.
