Mepsgen

MEPSGEN is a global biotech company pioneering scalable microfluidic platforms for nanoparticle synthesis and organ-on-a-chip technologies.

Headquartered in Seoul with U.S. offices in Cambridge, MA and San Jose, CA, MEPSGEN was co-founded by Georgia Tech Professor YongTae (Tony) Kim and MIT Professor Robert Langer in 2019.

Our flagship NanoCalibur system enables the lab-to-GMP scale synthesis of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), liposomes, and other nanoparticles with high encapsulation efficiency, payload integrity, and minimal batch-to-batch variation. Its closed-loop, low-shear design ensures reproducibility, making it ideal for mRNA, ASO, peptide, and gene therapy applications.

We also offer ProMEPS, the all-in-one robotic solution for MPS(Microphysiological System) modeling, and MEPS-X, a dynamic human tissue culture platform designed to support diverse cell types and tissue architectures, enabling the reconstruction of tissue-level structure and function under both physiological and pathological conditions.

MEPSGEN empowers researchers across drug discovery, preclinical studies, and clinical translation—accelerating innovation in drug development.
